देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड वक्फ बोर्ड के अंतर्गत चिन्हित किए गए प्रदेश के 117 मॉडर्न मदरसों को पूर्व राष्ट्रपति डा. एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम के नाम से संचालित किया जाएगा। इसको लेकर वक्फ बोर्ड से प्रस्ताव मांगा गया है। उत्तराखंड अल्पसंख्यक आयोग के अध्यक्ष डा. आरके जैन ने मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी से भारूवाला स्थित मदरसे में पढ़ने वाले छात्रों के लिए छात्रावास की मांग की।
इसके अलावा अल्पसंख्यक विभाग के अधिकारियों को मुख्यालय में तैनात करने के बजाय जिले में नियुक्त करने की मांग की। इस पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया। सोमवार को गढ़ी कैंट के नींबूवाला स्थित हिमालयन सांस्कृतिक केंद्र के सभागार में उत्तराखंड अल्पसंख्यक आयोग एवं पुलिस विभाग ने विश्व अल्पसंख्यक अधिकार दिवस मनाया।
117 मॉडर्न मदरसों का होगा संचालन
कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शामिल हुए मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि नए वर्ष से उत्तराखंड वक्फ बोर्ड की ओर से प्रदेश में 117 मॉडर्न मदरसों का संचालन किया जाना है। वक्फ बोर्ड की ओर से मॉडर्न मदरसों को पूर्व राष्ट्रपति डा. एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम के नाम से संचालित करने का प्रस्ताव रखा गया है। इसके अलावा जल्द समान नागरिकता संहिता कानून लागू किया जाएगा। किसी वर्ग विशेष का उत्पीड़न करना सरकार का उद्देश्य नहीं है।
अल्पसंख्यकों के हितों की सुरक्षा सरकार का मकसद
सीएम धामी ने कहा कि अल्पसंख्यकों के हितों की सुरक्षा के लिए सरकार प्रयासरत है। अल्पसंख्यकों के कल्याण के लिए मुख्यमंत्री हुनर विकास योजना चलाई जा रही है। कमजोर वर्ग को इस योजना के अंतर्गत प्रशिक्षण देने के साथ ही स्वरोजगार उपलब्ध कराए जा रहे हैं। मेधावी छात्रों को छात्रवृत्ति, स्वरोजगार के लिए ब्याज मुक्त ऋण की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई जा रही है। उत्तराखंड वक्फ बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष शादाब शम्स ने कहा कि अप्रैल से मॉडर्न मदरसों का संचालन किया जाना है।
अल्पसंख्यक दिवस पर किया जागरूक
उत्तराखंड अल्पसंख्यक आयोग के अध्यक्ष डा. आरके जैन ने कहा राज्य में 11वां अल्पसंख्यक दिवस मनाया जा रहा है। अल्पसंख्यक वर्ग के अधिकारों की जानकारी को लेकर जन जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इस मौके पर अल्पसंख्यक आयोग के उपाध्यक्ष सरदार इकबाल सिंह, मदरसा बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष मुफ्ती शूमन कासमी, कार्यवाहक पुलिस महानिदेशक अभिनव कुमार, सचिव जेएस रावत, सदस्य सीमा जावेद, दीपा रावत आदि मौजूद रहे।
